31 Days of Spooky Stories
October is my absolute favorite month of the year.
For me, it’s the beginning of autumn and the pathway to winter, my favorite seasons of the year. It’s also a time for remembering the dead, focusing on what has been done and what’s to come, and all that sort of nostalgic, shadow work that I do during this season.
So this year, I’ve decided to release one new short story every day for the entire month. They’ll be released in the evening at the same time — scheduling tools are great for this! — so you can come back every day and see a brand new story.
If you’ve come from Wattpad or Reddit, you’ll notice that the stories available on those platforms are different than the ones here. That’s right: three new stories will be released every day for this month on three different platforms.
If you like the stories but don’t want to bounce between platforms, no worries, because I’ve got you covered — at the end of the month, I’ll be archiving all of the short stories right here in one section. You’ll have to wait until the end of the month, though - I’m ahead of schedule, but not by much!
P.S. All of the photos for this project are offered by Unsplash, which is a free stock photo site. I love the company and have worked with them in the past, but this isn’t sponsored.
